TWO DESIGNATED school personnel require ANNUAL TRAINING on the administration of glucagon/baqsimi in a school where a child or youth with Type 1 diabetes attends and if glucagon administration is requested and supplied by parents.
Island Health provides the training in partnership with the SD 61.
The training is offered 4 times in the school year from Sept to January. All training sessions are from 8:45 – 9:30 am at the Board Office-556 Boleskine Road
