CDCP is a federal initiative designed to make dental care more affordable for eligible Canadian residents. It provides coverage for a range of oral health services, including preventive care, restorative treatments, and prosthodontic services. Eligibility is based on factors such as income level and access to private dental insurance. Applications are currently open to all qualifying individuals. It is based on the beliefs that all children and adolescents have the right to healthy oral care and that effective oral care positively transforms the health and lives of children and adolescents.
