An Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) supports health and wellness for you, your spouse and your dependent children. It includes counselling, life coaching and online resources to help you manage stress, mental health issues or anything else life throws your way. The Greater Victoria School District’s EFAP is delivered by Homewood Health, Canada’s leader in workplace mental health, addiction programs and employee assistance.
In addition to counselling Homewood Health also offers supports such as:
- New parent, childcare and parenting support
- Elder care, family care and relationship solutions
- Financial and legal advisory services
- Grief and loss
- Lifestyle changes such as stress management, nutritional coaching, smoking cessation, etc.
- Career and pre-retirement planning
