Our annual Baby Celebration recognizes the volunteer facilitators, families, babies and teachers who participate in our Roots of Empathy programs. We are grateful to these dedicated individuals who give their time to promote the development of empathy in our young students!

Roots of Empathy’s mission is to build caring, peaceful and civil societies through the development of empathy in children and adults. It is an evidence-based classroom program that has shown significant improvements in reducing levels of aggression – including bullying, and raising social and emotional competence among elementary children.
